Audrey's was born from a passion for food. Named after Audrey, our founder's daughter - Audrey embodies everything that is lovely - a passion for baking, for always striving to make people happy with food, tweaking it, making it that little bit more special.....
Audrey's is located in a 14th Century building - the building was almost lost due to extensive decay and neglect. A complete restoration was completed in 2015 led by Award Winning Arquitect Luis Rebelo de Andrade. Now the building not only houses Audrey's but also Santiago de Alfama - Boutique Hotel, recipient of the prize for 'Best Urban Hotel in Europe'
Audrey's and the Santiago is a passion project of its founder and owners.
We have a vegetable garden in the Alentejo from which we bring up produce weekly. The Alentejo is inland and warmer than Lisbon, making it fantastic growing for a whole host of vegetables. Although we are not certified as organic yet, we do not use any pesticides, herbicides or any other nasty stuff on our land. As a result, we have lots of birds, insects of all shapes and sizes creating a self contained ecosystem.
Our aim is to make our menu as seasonal as possible, as nature intended.
